A Dickens Holiday

Historic Downtown Fayetteville will again be transformed into a unique Victorian & wonderful shopping experience. There will be all the classic Dickens Holiday events you can come to know and enjoy - Scrooge, cider, arts and craft vendors, photos with Father Christmas, carriage rides, street performers and, of course, the candlelight procession followed by fireworks.

Also this year:

The whole community is invited to become a part of the Gingerbread Community of Hope which will be on display during A Dickens Holiday on Nov 24 (Thanks to H&H Homes and Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity). Pick up an entry form at the Habitat ReStore (3833 Bragg Blvd.). The Gingerbread Community of Hope will be on display at SkyView on Hay from 1-9 p.m.

Back this year is "Annie's Alehouse," a food court and performance area behind the Arts Council building modeled on the old Victorian pubs. During "Dickens After Dark" following the fireworks, you can indulge in some wine and have a rousing good time!

There will be so much to see and do this year! Make plans now to attend!
